Having to face hard decisions, I usually struggle. When I grew up, it took my quite a while to chose a profession. But photography has always been my passion. And that is why I set up this website.
When I got my first 3.2mp camera, I felt like a king. You could hardly see the pictures on the 1” display but still I loved it. The next step was a DSLR camera, the Canon 400D, which I bought at the age of 13 having saved enough money. I was so proud of my new camera because back then, it was still unusual to have a DSLR camera. In the following years I took as many photos as possible. I went to birthday parties or other events and played the photographer for my friends; sometimes I simply went outside in order to take photos of landscapes and nature. My job as a draughtsman provided me with the money needed as I progressed with my photography.
One day, while I was waiting for almost four hours at the doctor’s office I was having a chat with a salesman I know. He told me about the cameras he had left in his shop: a few 5D Mark IIs and one 24-70. I was really annoyed from sitting around waiting. And I thought I deserved a little treat. So I bought my first full frame camera. And let me tell you, this camera changed everything. I started doing wedding photography for some friends, I travelled, I had many new experiences – and I took photos.
Now I think it is time for a next step and so with the help of Pierre and Sebastian from econsor webdesign a dream has come true: I have my own website.
As you look round it I hope you will enjoy my photography. If so, share it with your friends, like me on facebook or follow me on flicker. And if you would like any of my photos printed for you to hang up at your wall (or if you would like me to come and take photos of you), feel free to contact me.
